Update February 2009: Times are tough - help is on the way!

Times are tough right now. Year to year sign-ups were down by almost 5% across the network in 2008. Quarter 1, 2009 is projected to drop 8%. As expected, people are less likely to join a gym when jobs and wealth are in jeopardy.

To help you through challenging days, we are rolling out the following programs to add efficiency to your operations and impact to your sales pitch:

- Multi-role staffing program - learn how to combine roles to limit overhead
- Increased store product line - we've added 20+ high-margin, must-have products
- special "better body - better wallet" marketing material and point of sale signage
